DIY Disney Dresser

DIY Disney Dresser

I moved home for the summer and left all of my furniture in St.george. So i've been hitting the yard sales looking for a dresser. Because living out of my suit case just wasn't cutting it anymore. I found this dresser outside of my uncles shop. And he gave it to me for free! So there we go.

So that's how it turned out! Not that great because I'm not that good at drawing free hand. But it turned out good enough for me.

Here's how to do it!

The first thing I did was sand down the whole thing. Which didn't take too long.

I then went and got some dark walnut stain and stained the whole dresser.

I let it dry all night and then the next day I took a pencil too it and drew the outline of Walt Disney and Mickey.

I then got some mint green paint (even though it doesn't really look like it in the picture) and did the outline of the characters and then filled them in.

After that was done I decided to do a castle on the side. which turned out a little crooked.

And that's it!

It took me a few days. But it was worth it.
